On February 28 - Mar 02, 2005, China Concept Consulting's Chairman, Mr. David Lie, led a delegation in his capacity as Chairman of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce China Committee to visit Tianjin and various Ministries in Beijing. The delegation met with Mr. Dai Xianglong, Mayor of Tianjin. During their meeting, they discussed the development of Tianjin city in the past few years and their common interest in exploring opportunities for future cooperation.

Mr. Lie and the delegation also met with many government officials in Beijing, including Mr. An Min, Vice Minister of MOFCOM and Mr. Li Ruogu, Vice Governor of the People's Bank of China. The delegates discussed the CEPA, RMB revaluation and Banking Reform, among other issues. More importantly, Mr. David Lie and the delegates also exchanged their views with various Ministries (National Development and Reform Commission, State Administration of Taxation and General Administration of Customs) on the cooperation between Hong Kong and the Mainland and how Hong Kong can assist in strengthening China's economic development and growth.

From January 16-January 23, Irelands largest trade delegation visited Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong, led by Irish Prime Minister Mr. Bertie Ahern and Minister for Agriculture Ms. Mary Coughlan. China Concept organized events for the Food and Drink side of the delegation, which included 30 of Ireland''s leading meat, dairy and drink companies. The main events included seminars, business meetings, trade visits and industry briefings. The Irish Food Board CEO Mr. Aidan Cotter and China Meat Association President Mr. Li Shuilong hosted the seminars. Various high-level Chinese officials attended the seminars, including Vice-Mayor of Beijing Niu Youcheng and Vice-Director of AQSIQ Mr. Ge Zhirong.
